Step-by-Step: First-Time Setup & Priming

A new bottle or a refilled dispenser will have an empty pump mechanism that needs to be "primed."

1. Remove any Seals: Take off the bottle's cap and remove any protective foil or plastic seal under the cap.

2. Attach the Pump: If it's separate, screw the pump assembly tightly onto the bottle neck.

3. Prime the Pump:

   • Point the nozzle away from yourself and anything fragile.

   • Press the pump head down repeatedly (usually 3-10 times). You may hear air whooshing out initially.

   • Continue pumping until a consistent stream or dollop of product is dispensed.

   • Once primed, the pump is ready for normal use.
