Key Considerations When Choosing a Cream Jar

1. Formula Preservation: This is the most critical factor.

   • Air-Sensitive Actives: If your cream contains ingredients like Retinol, Vitamin C, or peptides, a jar is not the best choice. An airless pump is far superior for preserving efficacy.

   • Light-Sensitive Actives: Use an opaque jar (PP, PE, or colored glass/PET).

2. Target Market & Brand Image:

   • Luxury Market: Acrylic, thick-walled glass, or metallic PET jars.

   • "Clean"/Natural Market: Frosted glass, matte-finish PET, or bamboo.

   • Mass Market: Simple PP or PE jars.

3. User Experience & Hygiene:

   • Always consider including a spatula to promote hygienic use.

   • A wide mouth is easy to access but exposes more product; a narrower mouth exposes less.
